I am in the base today, I went here with hubby around 7 in the morning. As usual the wifi has a very slow connection.
It takes around 3 to 6 minutes to load a page and it’s more often that a simple page would not load
.
Anyway, we attended the Asian Pacific Islander luncheon today. The food was great and the overall presentation was fabulous. And hey guess what, they had a “tinikling dance” presentation..it makes me proud
.
Fast forward..I’m back here in the BX writing an entry and wish me luck on when I’m about to post this
And if I can’t, consider it my day off day off in front of my laptop
It’s memorial day tomorrow and hubby has no work. We’re going shopping for some bathroom fixtures cause there’s a sale in the mall. Hubby will have a 4-day weekend (no work tomorrow and on monday) and we’re planning to go out of town again.
We’ll probably go to Texas or in AZ. I haven’t been to the Grand Canyon yet and they said it’s marvelous. How about you? Where are you going to spend your 4 day weekend?

OMG!!!!!
David Cook is the new American Idol
..Gosh it’s so overwhelming. I like this guy/singer a lot. I have a feeling that he’ll win it tonight but I know David Archuleta is really a brilliant singer.
David Cook has 12 million votes more than David Archuleta. That is huge.
I saw Bryan Adams, George Michael and lots of great singers tonight. It was awesome.

I went to the base today to attend hubby’s officemate’s graduation. It was my first time to attend an airmen graduation. It was great. They had a candle light graduation.
It was candle light because there was a power interruption. They said, one of the transformer popped so it took time for the electrician’s to fix.
Congratulations to the OSS group graduate, Keith Flannigan for graduating with flying colors. He had two awards (sorry I forgot what are those) and truly, the whole OSS family is proud of you.
More blessings to you and your family!

One of the benefits PPP offered to their bloggers who’s giving good performance with the tasks/ assignments given to them is that they’ll give you the automatic approval. This means that whenever you will submit an entry, their system will verify it and approves it right away.
I think a certain blogger can get this after 10+ approved posts. They will still manually check it to double check that the blogger followed all their rules. PPP do have a lot of rules in submitting an opps.
First, they want the bloggers to follow the required links asked by the advertisers. Second, the paid posts need to be separated by at least 1 non-paid post. Third, the grammar usage. My guess is that, the advertisers are checking the entries too (of course if I am the advertiser, I will check my advertisement).
PPP recently revised one requirement for new bloggers. They were requesting a 3 month old, online and live blog before they’ll approve you. Right now, they’re only requesting at least 1 month old blog and with 10 recent posts.
I’ll talk about Smorty’s rules for bloggers on my next post…

I have some pending assignments but I’m tired and don’t feel like completing it today *shhh*. Anyway, I’m impatiently waiting for our vonage kit.
We’re transferring our regular phone line to a VOIP phone. It was only recently that we decided to transfer because of our slow internet connection last year. It was only last January of this year that our internet connection started getting better.
So then we decided to transfer to a VOIP phone. We’re trying to cut down some expenses, the tax charge alone is unbearable. Our regular local phone line only cost $40+, that’s with tax and other charges. With Vonage, I took the $29.99 a month unlimited residential phone service and this includes long distance call as well as international call to more than 10 countries and cities.
It did not reach the Philippines yet but hopefully they will soon..

Finally, PPP customer service replied to my inquiry today. I posted an entry regarding on a certain problem that I encountered from PPP yesterday (click here to read my previous article).
If only they’ve given me an excuse/reason that I can take, then it wouldn’t make me feel bitter at all. I saw it in my own naked eyes and I have friends that could attest on it too. There system has an error yesterday; the payout of a certain assignment was changed from $113.50 to $14.00.
The customer service replied to me today and said that there was no Opps with a payout that I was talking about. Of course it’ll change, it already changed after submitting the article yesterday. I know that none/no one is perfect, be it a machine or a human being..but I know and saw what happened. I only want to hear the truth on your side too and not any BS and no truth reply.
Oh well, it’s my first time to encounter this kind of problem but believe me..I’ve learned my lesson and hopefully there will be no next time for this. As for me, I’ll capture a screen shot before hitting the submit button from now on
Thanks for the reply anyway. And hey, friends…let this be a learning lesson for you. Ask Lira or Jackie, they know what happened

I am currently having my very first auction on ebay
.
I’m selling our newly bought Unlocked Blackberry Pearl 8100. Bought it around $300 (plus shipping and handling) but my husband (the gift recipient) doesn’t like it and its costly, we’re in a roaming zone of t-mobile and the minutes is expensive.
I was kind of excited when we bought it but after spending almost $200 in cell phone credit for only a month..we both decided to sell it.
So that was the reason why it’s on auction right now. It’s in good shape and we barely use it, I think we only use it when we went to Virginia.
I posted it on ebay last week, I opted the auction to run for 7 days and today is the last day for the auction. There are bidders and I’m happy about it.
I’ll be selling more products soon

I finally stole the limelight
, it’s a great day to start my monday. I was online and had been refreshing my screen when PPP released their first numbers of assignment. I got lucky to grab a few of the big paying ones. Thanks to PPP for that.
Then I can go ahead now and do some household chores.
As I said in my earlier post, we started our week pretty good. Everything seemed to work according to what we planned and the blessings that I got from my sideline income is doing pretty good also.
For my co-bloggers who wasn’t able to grab the previously released assignments, keep your patience high, I’m sure PPP is going to release their opps afternoon schedule in a few mins so keep on refreshing.
