Bloggers news of the day:
A software programmer was convicted Monday of first-degree murder for killing his estranged wife, whom he contends may be living elsewhere. Hans Reiser, 44, bowed his head in court as the jury found him guilty of a crime that carries a sentence of 25 years to life in prison.
Nina Reiser disappeared more than a year ago after dropping off the couple’s children at Hans Reiser’s home. Her body has never been found. Reiser, known in programming circles as creator of the ReiserFS computer file system, testified for several days in the six-month trial, often giving rambling answers and getting scolded by the judge for arguing with the prosecutor.
Defense attorney William Du Bois said Monday he was disappointed with the verdict, but didn’t think things would have gone differently if Reiser had never taken the stand.
Tom Orloff, the district attorney for Alameda County, said the verdict “does justice for Nina Reiser and her family.”

The website that is selling soccer equipments is soccergoalzinc.com. They do have a lot of products like regular soccer goals, portable soccer goals, and pop up soccer goals, rebounders, and soccer backstops, metal street hockey goals and PVC STREET hockey goals.
Each of the goals is of different sizes good for little tikes or teenagers. It’s good if your kids are inclined into sports. That will lead them to have a joyful growing up. I even prefer this rather than giving the kids a portable games. There are a lot of good things that a kid can develop.

Our economy is getting unstable for years now. The prices of basic needs are going up while the salary takes time to increase. I felt that and we are trying to be thriftier in order to save money for later use. We’ll never know we’ll have an emergency later and it is good that we have cash (not a credit) to spend. One thing is for sure, most credit card charges costs a lot.
So much for that, anyway, I found a website that can help business owners. If you business/ company is suffering from company’s debt right now due to the rickety of our economy, americanprofit.com can help.
American Profit is a Collection Agency that can provide a seamless solution to help business owners or even office manager and administrative professional, manage collectibles and regain their profit back.

We are planning to buy us a GPS and I’m glad to know that the price of GPS right now is declining. That means that I can buy it cheaply
as oppose to paying $200 or $300+.
GPS is really helpful especially here in the States, unlike in the Philippines; one wrong turn here could end you in the middle of nowhere. The roads here are tricky and you need to be familiarize which is north, east, west and south. In the Philippines, if you miss a turn; you can make a u turn right away..here, you need to drive all the way and look for the u turn spot before you can make a u turn.
And the roads here are narrow and long. It’s even worse if you are driving in a freeway (super highway in the Philippines) and in the big cities like California. Yikes!!
Though if you have a GPS, it helps a lot with the road direction. We are currently depending on mapquest or google maps but the thing is, I noticed that some of this direction has errors. Like the first time when we went to Roswell NM, it says on the direction that we need to make a left turn on a certain junction (crossing) but in reality, we need to make the right turn because the left turn is going to AZ and not to Roswell. We’re just glad that we passed by that road before so we know where to turn.
I heard a few horror stories about GPS too but a friend of ours told us that we can upgrade the stored map direction of GPS so it’ll probably be ok. And I’m kinda excited about the idea of getting us one

My hits4pay account has been kicking off
for months now. I may not earn hundreds from that PTC site right now but I know I’m going there, look at my inboxdollars earnings.
I started signing up on this PTC sites through a friends invitation. The first PTC site I joined was clixsense and I like it so I joined other PTC sites too.
It’s a different kind of earning, you’re only paid cents unlike in paid postings that the minimum is $3. Though it was only cents, I was able to earn a total of $300+ going 400. That’s a pretty good income knowing that I did not pay anything to be a member plus I do my site clicks in between posting an entry.
The check above is my first check from hits4pay and right now, I have at least $7+ income from that site again. This is growing everyday.

It seems like the battle is not yet over….
Microsoft’s chief financial officer said Thursday that the US software giant is standing by its 44.6 billion dollar bid for Yahoo and the April 26 deadline it gave the struggling Internet pioneer to decide.
“With respect to Yahoo we have been clear speed is of the essence,” Chris Liddell said while discussing a fresh Microsoft earnings report. “The idea we should increase our bid just because we can afford to is not one that I favor. Unless we make progress with the Yahoo board by this weekend we will explore our alternatives.
Microsoft has given Yahoo’s board of directors until April 26 to accept its unsolicited 44.6 billion dollar offer. Microsoft’s options include withdrawing its offer or taking it directly to shareholders in what would be considered a “hostile” proxy battle.
“With or without a Yahoo combination, Microsoft is focused on the online advertising market,” Liddell said.
