Carlson-sebastian-7months

Awww, how time goes by so quick! My little boy is not so little anymore. He’s 7 months old right now and he’s pro in crawling, a master in climbing and is taking a step or 2 without us holding him. Anak, I just gave birth to you :-) …parang kelan lang.

I love every moment I spent with you my little pumpkin. It’s so true, mommies will drop whatever they’re doing when the baby cries and needs our attention. If I was multitasking before, it tripled or quadrupled since I gave birth to my lil boy. But it’s all so worth it..every sleepless night, every tiring day…I’ll do it over and over again for you anak :-)

Our lil Sebastian turned 3 months old yesterday

Our little Sebastian turned 3 months old yesterday :-) and my little charmer and the whole family went to the beach. While daddy and big brothers were busy boggie boarding, mommy and the baby were also busy with our pictorial (again) yesterday.

Here are some of our pictures from yesterday

Meet our lil charmer

Carlson Sebastian

We call him our little charmer :-) .. that’s my son Carlson Sebastian or lil Basty (for mommy) and lil Carlson (for Daddy). He always has a smile ready for mommy every morning he wakes up. I swear I’m enjoying my motherhood everyday :) . I may get my hands full 24/7 but it’s all worth it. My lil charmer loves to talk. I’m not sure if he understands me when I talk to him or when I read to him but he sure does coo’s with ahh’s and those lil laughs and smiles a lot. Of course I don’t understand what he’s saying lol.

He is 2 months and 3 weeks when I took this picture. He loves to lay flat on the bed by his stomach, he can move his head (even on the first day when he was born) and he has a very strong spine & neck. My guess is that he will crawl pretty soon because as of right now he can move his body by kicking his feet while his laying flat on his stomach during tummy time.

My little Sebastian

carlson

My little pumpkin is almost 3 months old already, whew..time goes by so quick isn’t it?

Pretty soon, Sebastian is gonna be running and we are going to be chasing him all over the house :-) . Oh boy, I’m excited and scared at the same time. I’m always praying that my son will grow up God fearing and a good person.

I remember one time when Carlo and I were talking when baby Basty turns 19 and will give us a headache, I was telling Carlo that I will live in his dorm if he doesn’t shape up and Carlo was laughing so hard. I don’t know, it’s scary to raise a kid here in the States.

But I strongly believe though that discipline always starts inside each others home and the kids attitude is always the result of his/her upbringing. After all, where would my son will pick up/develop his attitude if not inside our house right?

BTW, here’s my 10th week old Sebastian :-) ..

This was taken at the Paradise Cove last weekend. He was enjoying the sun and the people :-) ..and he loves to flirt with the camera too :-)

I’m on my 37 weeks gestation :-)

I am officially 37 weeks today :-) ..so happy about it. That means I can give birth safely (for my baby) anytime from today.

I had a pre-term labor 3 weeks ago that’s why I haven’t been updating here, all I did was rest and took 1 day at a time. I stopped my daily walks and was almost bed ridden but I’m glad that I did not.

Anyhow, we only needed 1 last thing and we’re good to go. We still haven’t bought any swing and I’ve heard it’s very important. I’ve been having a hard time walking lately (too heavy and I get tired easily) so I’ve never hang out in any malls lol.

Hopefully Carlo can push me to get out in my couch so we can buy one this weekend :-D ..

Integrity

I went to the Commissary (grocery store for military family) today and while parking on the “Expectant Mother”, the next reserved parking space made me smile. It was reserved for the “General”.

It reminded me of my conversation with my husband some months ago. One day when we were shopping at the BX (Basic Exchange, basically a mini-mall for military family; located inside the base), I became so curious as to how would you identify if the person that’s parking on the reserved parking spaces were really are they claiming they were.

So I asked him “Babe, how would you know that these people who parked in these reserved parking spaces are what they’re claiming to be?”

He then smiled and told me “Integrity baby, integrity”.

Whew..I was ashamed of myself. Why did I even asked such stupid nonsense question. I know for a fact that that’s how they live their lives (for heaven’s sake I’ve been married to a uniformed guy for years now and I should have known better), I always admire and respect my husband’s job and profession.

Buanga bitaw ato uy..

I’m in the middle of my 2nd trimester

It feel so right when you open your mailbox and read this kind of message :)

Your Baby’s Development

* By the middle of the second trimester, the baby is about 8 inches long and weighs half a pound.
* The baby’s bones are hard and the joints flexible.
* Now the mother can feel the baby’s kicks and rolls. Even hiccups can be felt on occasion.
* Eyelashes begin to appear.

Can’t wait for him or her to be here….

I am back from a LONG hiatus

I am on my 14th week on the family way (pregnant) and I’m still vomiting and nauseating like I’m still on my first trimester :( . I don’t retain much of my daily food intake and I’m not even eating good. I have no appetite at all.

It’s a little depressing but I don’t want to get depressed since it’s bad for my baby. I started calling my Dr yesterday and she prescribed me with a pill for my excessive vomiting and nauseating and I’m hoping that this will work. I so want to be healthy for my baby.

And that’s the latest update of my life. I know I haven’t been updating my blogs for a year, it’s just that, I cannot find a balance between being a career-person, a full time wife and a full time student that’s why I have to gave up my blogging.

When I found out that I am pregnant and that it is a difficult one, I made my decision to quit my job and just concentrate on starting to be a mom. There was no regret on me quitting my job, I do love working but it’s time for me to start building my own family.

Ohh I forgot to mention, I worked at Gategourmet HNL before, as an information specialist. I took care of the company vital info specs wise. I had fun working with my buddies back there, to Arnold, Kimo, Fred, Nat, Turia, Chef Aldo, Chef Aaron, David Painter..thanks a bunch for the wonderful time I had with you guys.

And to all my readers/followers..thank you so much for dropping by and visiting me. I’m here and I’m back :-)
