Your Baby’s Development

* By the middle of the second trimester, the baby is about 8 inches long and weighs half a pound.
* The baby’s bones are hard and the joints flexible.
* Now the mother can feel the baby’s kicks and rolls. Even hiccups can be felt on occasion.
* Eyelashes begin to appear.

Can’t wait for him or her to be here….

I am back from a LONG hiatus

June 16th, 2010 | 5 Comments | Posted in Blogging, Featured, Hawaii, Honolulu, Living, new mom, pregnant

I am on my 14th week on the family way (pregnant) and I’m still vomiting and nauseating like I’m still on my first trimester :( . I don’t retain much of my daily food intake and I’m not even eating good. I have no appetite at all.

It’s a little depressing but I don’t want to get depressed since it’s bad for my baby. I started calling my Dr yesterday and she prescribed me with a pill for my excessive vomiting and nauseating and I’m hoping that this will work. I so want to be healthy for my baby.

And that’s the latest update of my life. I know I haven’t been updating my blogs for a year, it’s just that, I cannot find a balance between being a career-person, a full time wife and a full time student that’s why I have to gave up my blogging.

When I found out that I am pregnant and that it is a difficult one, I made my decision to quit my job and just concentrate on starting to be a mom. There was no regret on me quitting my job, I do love working but it’s time for me to start building my own family.

Ohh I forgot to mention, I worked at Gategourmet HNL before, as an information specialist. I took care of the company vital info specs wise. I had fun working with my buddies back there, to Arnold, Kimo, Fred, Nat, Turia, Chef Aldo, Chef Aaron, David Painter..thanks a bunch for the wonderful time I had with you guys.

And to all my readers/followers..thank you so much for dropping by and visiting me. I’m here and I’m back :-)

Snag a job

January 14th, 2010 | 1 Comment | Posted in Jobs, Living

Few years ago, call center agent was one of the hottest job especially in Asia. Call centers were sprouting everywhere, in India, Philippines, Singapore and other countries. Filipinos were inclined to apply for one since the salary pay is 2 or 3 times higher than the average salary in the Philippines.

I’m pretty sure it is still one of the in demand jobs right now. I even work as a part time call center agent last year. It was not my cup of tea but the experience was worth it :) .

apartment finder

December 14th, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in Living

One of the hardest thing when you’re relocating from one city to another is to find a place (like a house or an apartments for rent). We move from the mainland to Hawaii a few months ago and it took us a month to find a house.

It was very stressful for the whole family. It was no fun living in a hotel for a month with your husband going to work and kids going to school.

Which one is which?

What do you think about the electric hand dryers that the most of our public restroom used? Do you think it is better than paper? For me, whichever works best is fine. There are cause and effect on both materials so technically, whatever fits best is ok.

Or maybe, those public restroom owners will conduct a sampling as to which one is more cost effective as well as eco-friendly then will decide from that.

Are you in need of mounts for your television in your house? If so, then make use of the internet. There are hundreds or even thousands of websites out there that are selling mounts on a cheaper price. They do deliver it right in front of your doorstep, the only thing that you need to do is order it online, pay for it and select a delivery option or date.

It’s easy isn’t it?

North Shore: The waves are fierce but beautiful!

Northshore, Oahu, Hawaii

The beautiful Waimea Park shoreline @ North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii

What a beautiful scenery last sunday!

That’s how we (basically) spend our weekends (lol), roaming around Honolulu particularly on the Makai (beach) side of the island. Lately, we’ve been visiting the Northern part of the island which they called the windward side. They call it windward because it is where the wind comes.

While there is a windward side, the other side of the island where  the wind leaves, is called  the Leeward side. Windward usually experience moderate to heavy rains while leeward is a little dry.
