Just an update about my PTC account READBUD, I’ve already earned $40.06 as of today and I’m happy to share about it :) .

Also, one note that I need to correct on my previous entry, I notice (as well as my downline, I have friends who signed up under me) that when we reach the $30 amount, the articles that were given to us were not as many as before but still since it’s PTC and it’s a FREE membership; it’s still worth it.

Any football junkie wives out there like me :-)?

It’s NCAAF kick off week!! And if you are a big football junkie like me, I bet you money you are glued in your tv right now :) .

We started our college football season with watching my team USC playing against Hawaii last thursday. I had a blast, it was awesome..although USC’s defense performance was terrible not that good. I know, they are penalized for two years, they can’t go to any bowl but hey it doesn’t mean that they’ll give thier fans a crappy game right?

They won last thursday but it was very unsatisfactory. I remember a year ago and some few years back, they always dominate the field, you will always have a hard time penetrating the defense but last Thursday, it’s as if I was watching a different team.

It might be because most of the good players were drafted and are on NFL right now or maybe a new coach or I don’t know but I’m hoping that they’ll do better on the next game.

By the way, thanks hubby for our date that day. It was awesome, it was great, I could never ask for a better gift. Now 2 more wishes that I would really want us to do, to watch an NFL game on stadium and an NBA game in court :-) .

Oh yeah I am a big sports junkie LOL :-P , but never blame it on me, my husband will take all the blame. He got me into this, this is the result of him not letting me go with his former officemates wives (some 3 years ago) while they’re having a football party in our house; instead he’ll let me sit down and mingle with his friends..kinda like I’m one of the boys LOL.

So I don’t shop when there’s football game but he does shop for me, the jerseys of my favorite players :-D

I need a new spam catcher/killer plugin on wordpress

no-spamI’ve been having trouble with the excessive spam dropped on this blog lately and I guess it’s time for me to look for another spam catcher.

What are you using in your blog? I’m looking for any suggestion/s right now and thanks in advance. Also, I’d rather use what you’re using than trying a different one without any feedback from current user. That will save me time as it will be tested and proven already. By the way, I am using a wordpress platform and basically I am looking for a plugin.

Right now, I am using Spam Karma II, it works but it’s not up to my expectation (but of course, to each is own, it probably works on yours). There are still a lot of spam comments that slips and I’ve been marking them as spam everyday so my spam karma will recognize it as spam the next time.

Let me know what you’re using..any recommendations will do. Thanks!

Are you a PTC (pay-to-click) member? I am, and I’ve been a member of some PTC sites (yes plural, with an s) for quite a while now.

If you’re asking if I’ve earned from these PTC sites? The answer would be, YES. It varies from $5 to as much as $100 per pay check (depending on how much is the payout). The reason why I’m talking about PTC is because I recently discovered a new PTC site that pays better.

The PTC site is called READBUD and I’ve been a member of this site for more than a month now. The reason why I called it awesome because this is my first PTC site that I am able to earn as much as $1 or more in a day and by spending no more than 5 minutes. It sounds baloney but to see is to believe, I’m going to post some snapshots of how much I earned from July 9 to Aug 13 (today).

If you can spend hours browsing facebook or any other sites without getting paid, why not do the same thing with readbud and get paid? For some people, $1 is not much but as the days go by, your $1 will grow plus come to think of it; is facebook paying you or is facebook the one that’s earning from you? I guess the answer is obvious right?

So try this new PTC and see if you’ll like it, give yourself at least a week before you’ll decide to quit. After all $1 a day is around Php 40+ in Philippine money :) and it goes a long way when you live in the Philippines.

If you decided to sign up, here’s a quick instruction on how to start earning:

1) Click here and sign up

2) Confirm your email address

3) Login to readbud and go to ARTICLES

4) Choose your 50 interest/articles and save it

5) Click on ARTICLES, click the link of your first article

6) Scroll at the bottom of your article and rate it, it doesn’t matter how many stars as long as you’ll rate the article so you’ll be credited

7) NOTE: You actually do not need to read the whole article (unless it piques your interest)..this is a PTC site and you will be paid as long as you vote *the key is to rate the article to be credited*

I’ve been longing to buy an ebook reader but stopped myself since I’ve been waiting for any of the ebook reader prices to go down. And oh boy, I’m glad that I waited. Last week (if I remembered it right?) Kindle announces that they will be releasing a new version of kindle with a built in wifi and with a cheaper price of $139. That’s amazing isn’t it?

It’s cheaper compared to Sony ereader and Nook, the wifi capability is awesome and I’ve heard that one of the feature is it’s integrated with twitter and facebook? Whoaa, if this is true, what else can you ask for? I am a heavy reader, I love to read, love to discover new things and it’s my favorite past time (aside of course from shopping ~ lol) and i love facebook too lol (who doesn’t?).

I’ve already pre-ordered my kindle from Amazon :) , BTW, if you’re new on Amazon and wants to take advantage of their credit card promotion; Amazon is giving a $40 free credit (free money) by just signing up (you have to be approved too inorder to get this). It’s tested and proven, I signed up last month and had been enjoying the benefits since then (there’s a point system too where you will earn points for every purchase).

But just a precautionary, use your credit card the way you use your debit card, pay your balances on time, don’t overspend so you can pay it on time. The credit card company will give you at least a month to pay it off. If you pay it off on time, you would not incur any charges, you earn the $40 free money, you have a 1 month allocated time to pay for what you purchased and you even earn points that you can convert into cash, gifts or might even be an airline mileage (who knows). That’s awesome isn’t it? Not to mention that you are building up a beautiful credit score ;-)

I’m back on EC (entrecard) dropping!

It’s been ages since I last check my EC (entrecard) and I’m glad that I started being active again. I’ve completed my 300 drops today and will try to continue doing it.

It’s nice to discover and visit new blogs everyday, to hear(read) other people’s minds, point of views, daily lives and anything that they feel like sharing. There are thousands if not millions of bloggers around the globe, although there are some minor glitches on some blogs; it still didn’t hinder me to keep on clicking and reading.

I just hope that some bloggers would take into account that loading heavy graphics, video’s and tons of different ads (advertisement) freezes up somebody else computer lol (I’m talking about mine). Minimize it a bit and I promise, I’ll keep on visiting your site.

There were websites that I really want to read but alas, I didn’t use a T1 connection so it wouldn’t load..

The pop-ups are fine since I have a pop up blocker but the tons of video’s and heavy graphics (photo’s) and music files are annoying..lol.

I want to read your blog and will want to be a follower but how can I do so when I can’t even open your website? :(

19 Weeks pregnant and counting

I’m 19 weeks pregnant :) this week and will be on my 20th next week. I can’t beleive how time flies very quickly..you know, pretty soon I’ll have my lil one with me.

My belly is getting bigger and bigger each week and I eat like a horse every meal time; that’s 2 cups of rice every morning, another 2 @ noon and another 2 @ night LOL. My cups are really not that big but they are doubled from what I’m used to. I love eating sweet foods too although I discipline myself into that, just as long as I can eat a scoop of ice cream or a glass of smoothie everyday, I’m good with that.

14-weeks-pregnantHealth wise, I’m back on the gym too :) and I am very happy about that. I walk the track for around 30 minutes and I lift some weights for another 20 to 30 minutes. I use to lift around 20 to 30lbs but I’m only doing 10lbs right now. I don’t want to strain myself and my baby.

And my baby boy…

He’s very active, he loves to kick mommy and wakes me up every 9am (our usual wake up time, I would know it because he’ll start kicking around this time and it hurts). There are times (night time) when he’s so active that it get’s uncomfy and I can’t sleep at all, so he pretty much keep me awake until 2 in the morning.

He loves his daddy’s hold though, whenever his daddy would touch him (put his hand on my belly) he settles down right away and I can rest (so that’s my trick lol ~shhhh, don’t tell him).14-weeks-pregnant2The photo above and this one is taken @ Hanauma Bay, Hawaii  when I was 14 weeks pregnant

And oh, I already started buying clothes for him, as early as 3 weeks ago. It’s never too early when you live here in the States (wala may nanay na mutabang~ walang mama na mahihingan ng tulong); the earlier I get to buy and get everything ready; the better. It’s just going to be me and my husband, it might look a lil tough but we’re looking forward to it (there are no rewind or pause..lol).

It’s going to be August pretty soon and I am looking forward on the 6th of August, that will be my 3rd ultrasound and I get to see my palangga again :) .. can’t wait :-)

I am back from a LONG hiatus

I am on my 14th week on the family way (pregnant) and I’m still vomiting and nauseating like I’m still on my first trimester :( . I don’t retain much of my daily food intake and I’m not even eating good. I have no appetite at all.

It’s a little depressing but I don’t want to get depressed since it’s bad for my baby. I started calling my Dr yesterday and she prescribed me with a pill for my excessive vomiting and nauseating and I’m hoping that this will work. I so want to be healthy for my baby.

And that’s the latest update of my life. I know I haven’t been updating my blogs for a year, it’s just that, I cannot find a balance between being a career-person, a full time wife and a full time student that’s why I have to gave up my blogging.

When I found out that I am pregnant and that it is a difficult one, I made my decision to quit my job and just concentrate on starting to be a mom. There was no regret on me quitting my job, I do love working but it’s time for me to start building my own family.

Ohh I forgot to mention, I worked at Gategourmet HNL before, as an information specialist. I took care of the company vital info specs wise. I had fun working with my buddies back there, to Arnold, Kimo, Fred, Nat, Turia, Chef Aldo, Chef Aaron, David Painter..thanks a bunch for the wonderful time I had with you guys.

And to all my readers/followers..thank you so much for dropping by and visiting me. I’m here and I’m back :-)
