I just arrived from completing all my errands today and oh boy, your pregnant author is tired. Everything went fine though, I’ve completed all of my pending projects and I just need to rest a little but then I will start preparing/cooking dinner.
Yes, I went to Walmart store today and exchanged the damaged good that they sent me online. This experience made me realize that it’s still much better to buy it in the physical store rather than ordering it online. They did not even refunded the shipping so I guess I’ll just have to endure the long drives to buy something rather than buy it online.
I really am disappointed with Walmart, but hey, it might just be one of those days when they are “so” busy and would not take care of thier services.
For whatever reason, I learned a lot from this experience.

I am so disappointed with Walmart today. I recieved a gift for baby Carlson and it was a damaged goods. I can’t believed they packed up a damaged one. It was not damage through transport because the item was boxed 2 times and the inner box that has damaged on it.
I feel sorry for Angie, I don’t even know if I’ll tell her about it. But for sure, I am going to march to Walmart tomorrow and will demand an exchange of goods or refund. I am also thinking of taking off my baby registry at Walmart. I built one from them because thier baby stuffs are cheaper and I don’t want to burden anybody who wants to buy some stuff for Carlson.
And whew, I had my biggest disappointment of the day. I can probably excuse it if it was damaged/broken during shipping but it was not.

My blog is literally screaming for an updated wordpress 3.0.1 and a new template..and I have been so lazy lately UGH!!@#!
I’m on my second week of my third trimester and I’m having some ‘hiccups’ with my baby moving all the time. I am still trying to adjust. I get so sleepy all the time too while suffering from a terrible upper back pain.
Whew..surely, I have a box full of new mommy blues LOL.
But, we’ll see. I think I’m going to update my software today and will start looking for a new template

We just turned 7 months yesterday
, time flies so fast whew! Few more months to go and my baby Carlson is going to be here. So am I ready for the upcoming sleepless nights, double hardwork and more challenges?
YES, I am. You know, I can’t even wait for him to come. If only I can flash forward the time, I’ve already given birth a long time ago lol. But hey, I have no complains here, my journey to motherhood is fun.
I have been asking my mommy friends for tips and anything that they can share about being a new mom. I love hearing thier advices, it makes me stronger. Even when some mommies would tell me to get ready to give birth because it’s very painful, there are also other mommies out there that balances the idea and would tell me that ” of course it’s painful but you can do it”.
Mommy Jackie is one of my heroes
, she would always tell me “basta i-utong lang jud inig sulti sa doctor nga utong na, ayaw pagpa-kyut kyut..mugawas ra jud na imong bata lol”. Mao ning arisgada na kaayo ko karon and I have no fear about giving birth
.
Thanks much Mommy Jack..truly appreciate everything you’ve shared from the bottom of my heart.

I went to the Commissary (grocery store for military family) today and while parking on the “Expectant Mother”, the next reserved parking space made me smile. It was reserved for the “General”.
It reminded me of my conversation with my husband some months ago. One day when we were shopping at the BX (Basic Exchange, basically a mini-mall for military family; located inside the base), I became so curious as to how would you identify if the person that’s parking on the reserved parking spaces were really are they claiming they were.
So I asked him “Babe, how would you know that these people who parked in these reserved parking spaces are what they’re claiming to be?”
He then smiled and told me “Integrity baby, integrity”.
Whew..I was ashamed of myself. Why did I even asked such stupid nonsense question. I know for a fact that that’s how they live their lives (for heaven’s sake I’ve been married to a uniformed guy for years now and I should have known better), I always admire and respect my husband’s job and profession.
Buanga bitaw ato uy..

Just an update about my PTC account READBUD, I’ve already earned $40.06 as of today and I’m happy to share about it
.
If you’ve been a constant visitor of my blog, I’m pretty sure you’ve read about my previous article about readbud, but if not and is interested in learning about readbud, click here for the link.

Also, one note that I need to correct on my previous entry, I notice (as well as my downline, I have friends who signed up under me) that when we reach the $30 amount, the articles that were given to us were not as many as before but still since it’s PTC and it’s a FREE membership; it’s still worth it.

Carlo is wearing glasses as well as contact lenses alternately. He normally wear glasses inside the house and wear his contact lenses when he goes out or to the office.
It’s not for fashion of course, he has some eye problem but the contact lens and his eye glasses has been serving him great for years now. One thing that I like about his job is that they always send him for a regular eye check up every year. This means that he always have an up to date reading and prescription for his eyes.
We normally buy his contact lens at the mall but i forgot what’s his brand. All I know is there are a lot of different brands out there like air optics aqua, acuvue, focus, cooper vision and etc and I don’t know which one he buys.
You see, when we go to the mall, we go separate ways lol. He goes to the section where he needs to buy something and I go to a different section where I need to check for my things. You know how guys are, they don’t like being dragged from one section to the last section and being dragged back to the first section where the wife still cannot decide on what to buy
.
It’s funny but it’s true.

Do you really believe the news yesterday when they reported that the recession ended last last year? It’s laughable isn’t it? We’re not blind, we can see that we’re still struggling, our economy is still suffering. There are still thousands of jobless people out there and I have no idea why they’re claiming that the recession was over since last year.
Also, if it’s really over, then there would be less SAHM (stay at home mom) since most housewives can work and can afford a childcare for their kids. But hence it is not the case right now, most housewives prefer staying at home since childcare is more expensive than how much they earned.
That’s just an observation coming from an SAHM too. Also, I have a personal friend who opted to work on a graveyard shift just so her husband can watch her kid while she’s working and vice versa. That way, they won’t get any childcare services.
For those SAHM’s who want to work at home, that would be a good option too. I am working part time right now, it’s not much but at least I’m earning a bit. You can do crafting ( and for craft business cards, it’s available online), freelance writing, blogging, sewing, babysitting and anything that you can think of generating an income.
All I’m saying is, there are a lot of options for us SAHM out there
