Is there something wrong with yahoo messenger lately? I can’t seem to connect on a regular basis for 2 days in a row although yahoo mail seemed to be working fine.

yes, you are not the only one. people all over the world using yahoo messenger 10, some using 9, are constantly freezing up, uninstalling and reinstalling yahoo, and it still occurs. hopefully, yahoo will soon figure out what’s wrong, and either have a patch, or move on to yahoo 11. i’ve even had trouble with live messenger, seems that freezes too. and although i recently reformatted my pc (not due to yahoo), it should be working fine, but yahoo is not working well lately. hopefully, they don’t start that stuff about having to pay for messengers again. good luck
