almost..
Happy New Year!!

I can already smell 2009
. 2008 was a fairly good year for me, my first year of adjustment on living in a foreign land was quite good. It may not be perfect but everything was satisfactory.
I don’t have any new year’s resolution
, yet hubby and I have milestones for 2009. 2009 would be kind of a busy year for us and I’m excited about it. With regards to my blogs and sites, I have no new plans yet. I’m planning to continue blogging while trying to get a regular job.
How about you? Any plans for the incoming year? God bless with your dreams and plans and let’s go knock our dreams off

I can’t help but post our outing today. We went to our mountain and had my first experience of the ‘real’ snow (lol). it was freezing for me but not for hubby and my 3 boys.
I thought Fox would get scared, it was his first time to be in the snow too. But I was wrong, he enjoyed his time walking, running, sniffing and playing with us. I haven’t seen him pee though..haha.
He never shiver (obvious ba, aso kaya yan..)..
We planned on tubing but we weren’t able to find a tube rental shop that’s open so we decided to just walk around, let Fox get a feel of it and we planned on going back there this weekend. That is why, I’m going to the mall or Walmart tomorrow to buy tubing/sleding stuffs.
I’m really looking forward on going back there..anyway, here’s some of Fox’s pics on the snow..

I’m still up while hubby is already sleeping. I have to be hence I received quite a handful of assignments.
I can’t do this tomorrow, I also have a lot on my plate; it’s almost Christmas and you know, I have to do the cooking and all that. I kind a feel sad, you know I’m not in a really ‘good terms’ with my bro but I know everything will be fine soon.
I should be letting it go but sometimes it’s a tough love. I don’t know why learning doesn’t come easy for others. But hey, I love my brother..he’s my only bro. I just hope that he’ll realize it and will somehow change some ways of life.
I know you’re lost with what I’m talking, I’ll just leave it that way. There are things that are better keep that said. I just want to air out…somehow

Let’s not talk about recession for now ok? It’s healthy to ditch that topic once in awhile, to keep our sanity. Of course all of us are affected, we’re just even lucky that we manage to survive or actually still surviving.
Anyway, we just arrived from a potluck party in a friends house. Do you know what a potluck party is? I’m not used to this way back in the Philippines. During my college days, we call potluck as ‘chip in’, and it comes in any form. It can be money or food from each of the friends for the party.
Most of the parties in the Philippines, as always, it’s the host who’s going to spend for everything. Here in the States, it doesn’t always go that way. There might be some parties like graduation parties, birthday parties..some special occasions that the host will host everything but most likely, if it’s just a get together; it’s always potluck.
I like potluck parties, this way, everyone in the party shared the responsibility on the food part. On parties here, guests also help the owner clean the mess. I’m not sure if some of my friends from other cities are doing this too, but here in us, we always do this.
