My ‘first’ Hands Full experience

Now this is what I call “hands full”. :-) I had my good practice on taking care of kiddos during a friends’ birthday two days ago. I know it’s not that easy, haha, after like few minutes of being hands full, I was getting tired already.

That’s why I really bow my head to all the mommies out there. It’s not that easy taking care of kids especially if its the same age as the ones that I’m holding (they’re 3 months old and 20 months old).

Yet I know that being a mom is the best experience a woman could ever felt. All my mommy friends said that a simple smile from your baby can take all of your tiredness and even stress away :-)

Hole in Adobe software allows free movie downloads

OUCH!? This hurts big time on the distributor. It could be that they lost thousands of dollars because of this hole. Hmm, I wonder what would be Adobe’s explanation about this issue :-)

A security hole in Adobe Systems Inc software, used to distribute movies and TV shows over the Internet, is giving users free access to record and copy from Amazon.com Inc’s video streaming service.

The problem exposes online video content to the rampant piracy that plagued the music industry during the Napster era and is undermining efforts by retailers, movie studios and television networks to cash in on a huge Web audience.

“It’s a fundamental flaw in the Adobe design. This was designed stupidly,” said Bruce Schneier, a security expert who is also the chief security technology officer at British Telecom.

Winter is coming

Winter is almost coming and the best way prepare for the cold season is to get an electric blanket. I wasn’t aware about electric blankets until I live here in the States. Philippines is a very humid country and it goes on for whole year round.

But anyway, it starting to get cold and chilly in the afternoon and early morning here in our town. I think we’re reaching 50F during night time.

The Vehicle Reimbursement Services Website

Corporate Reimbursement Services, Inc. or CRS is one of the many management consulting firm that provides vehicle reimbursement programs for companies with mobile employees. The Vehicle Reimbursement that they are providing is highly flexible and customizable.

They have a program that calculates fair, accurate and defensible reimbursement rate for individual driver according to geographic cost variances, territory conditions and the actual number of business miles driven.

From that explanation, it is very clear that each drivers/business vehicle owner (from different places) have different costs.

Here’s an example of how they calculate the cost:
- Insurance premiums vary dramatically town by town, and even more so state by state. (more info)
- Some states levy significant property tax or excise tax on vehicles. Yet other states do not levy any of these taxes.
- Gas prices often differ tremendously state by state (due to state taxes) and are constantly fluctuating. (more info)

This information is very relevant to all the trucker owners out there. That is why, I am urging you to take a look at their website and see if you can find valuable information that could help you put more money in your pocket.

The website’s web address is: http://crsinc.com. Come and check them out now!

Again?!@

Were you watching football games this weekend? We did but we weren’t able to watch most of the games because were’ a little busy.

Do you remember the controversial call of Hochuli last weekend I believe? Hmm, well, he made another questionable call today during the Carolina – Atlanta game.

I haven’t seen this game but according to this article, he made a bad call again.

Take a look at this clipping:

flagging Julius Peppers for a roughing-the-passer penalty that wiped out Carolina’s interception return for a touchdown in the first quarter against Atlanta.

After Matt Ryan’s pass was intercepted by Richard Marshall, Hochuli threw a flag and announced Peppers made a helmet-to-helmet hit on Ryan. It erased the touchdown and gave the Falcons a first down on a drive that ended with a punt.

Replays showed Peppers made contact as Ryan released the ball, and appeared to hit him first with his shoulder.

Yay, what’s going on with the refs lately? Hmmm..
