Chaos in the money markets gave Microsoft Corp. an opening Monday to announce it would take on debt for the first time, launch a new $40 billion stock buyback plan and raise its dividend.
The moves indicate that for all the credit problems plaguing the financial sector, cash-laden technology companies with good credit ratings are still borrowing money on favorable terms and otherwise enjoying flexibility.
The largest information-technology company, Hewlett-Packard Co., approved an $8 billion buyback plan Monday. And Intel Corp. Chairman Craig Barrett told The Associated Press that the chip maker — which boasted $11.5 billion in cash and $2.1 billion in debt at the end of the last quarter — was feeling no squeeze from the credit crunch.

There were quite number of big paying opps from PPP and SS today and I hope that you logged on on any of these two sites and you were able to grab some.
I was able to grab a few and it made my day. Right now, I am completing all my pending tasks and hopefully I can grab some again tomorrow. By the way, I was SO disappointed with the Patriots game yesterday. To be honest, I don’t recognize the way they setup and played the game. I’m so used of watching them play a good defense and offense.
I’m so used of watching their linebackers defending their QB, of their defensive team getting an intercepted ball or sacking the QB. The game yesterday was a mess and it took me awhile to get over with it 
Hey don’t get me wrong, I am just a big fan of the NE Patriots team. As for their QB, he did his best. I’m hoping that his linebackers can protect him the next game. He got some beat up yesterday. NE team, get over with Brady being out of the season…Matt Cassel needs you.

Ok, let’s talk about blog spam.
Have you tried to experience being flooded by comments that are irrelevant and pure advertisement in one of your posts? If you’ll ask me, I did and it’s not just once or two time but a couple of times.
The first few months that I tried blogging, there were no spam filter that was available, there were even no validation codes to filter the comments. That is why, if you get flooded, expect that you’ll spend time deleting those comments.
Thanks to the software makers though, because after awhile, they created spam filtering software and validation codes to sift right comments from bad ones. Hence I am using wordpress (in most of my blog platform), I am also using the spam karma 2 plugin. I downloaded it from here and you can also visit the owners page here
Of course its free. The only thing that you need to do is to download it, unzip the file, drop the unzipped file in your plugin folder and activate it in your dashboard.

Hey, my first balikbayan box arrived in the Philippines in less than a month 
. I send 2 boxes last August when we went to California for a vacation and my parents received it first week of September.
I was lucky when I sent it too because after they pick it up, the cargo that I used were loading the packages to the ship the next day. I was so happy to learn that my parents have already gotten it.
If you want to know what cargo forwarding I used, I used the ACE (Associated Consolidators Express) company and they have offices in CA. My nanay told me that FedEx delivered it in our house. Nice huh?

Good Morning everyone:-) !
It’s officially the start of the fall season today. Are you ready for chilly and cold days? One of my fave season here in the States is Fall and Spring, during these seasons; the weather is not ‘extreme’ as I call it. It’s not too cold and it’s not too hot.
I’m fully adjusted with a lil chilly days but not on a very cold one. I’m good with 70f and up but below that, I’m not. We’ve been hitting 50F and below during night time in my place and we don’t use our AC anymore. Of course, I’m always wearing my pj’s now .
But anyway, time flies fast isn’t it? Few more months and it’ll be Christmas then New Year..whew, it makes us getting old errr I mean mature so fast
