I’m in the base today 
, I am taking a day off again. This time, it’s a valid day off with a valid reason. I am going to attend a going away party for the Price family. Lee Price is my hubby’s flight commander and he’s going to PCS (military term for next assignment or re-assignment) in Georgia.
The Price’s are very nice people. His wife (Handan) was one of the few people that welcomed me here in the states and in a military family with open arms. She’s a really nice person. I became close with them especially their daughter Nermin.
I hate seeing them go but that’s just how it is, with us, we don’t even know when and where is the next hubby’s assignment. Anyway, I’ll see you in a bit ok? I think, I’ll head home after the going away party. My baby Fox doesn’t have his mom in the house and he needs to eat his lunch
