I’m new on entrecard :-)

I just created my entrecard today and in case you have one too, don’t hesitate to drop yours in my entrecard.

For those who didn’t know what an entrecard is, entrecard is another way of connecting bloggers from each other. If you are a member of entrecard, you will be able to create a 125×125 button and embed the code of this button to your blog. Any entrecard member who were able to passed by in your blog can drop their entrecard in entrecard button.

It kind of differs to the traditional way of exchanging links but it serves good purpose, exchanging links. :)

Thanks (kaau) Lir for the info ;-)

acne

Since I stopped my clinique facial regimen, I’m getting a couple of pimples now and hopefully it wouldn’t turn into acne. Now I need to make a trip going to the BX and buy some astringent.

I always have facial problem from my weather here. It’s so hot and dusty. I’m counting for the fall and winter to come and hopefully this problem will go.

Microsoft taps RFID for Tech.Ed delegates

Cool or not? I couldn’t decide because if I am the delegate, yay, my company can keep track in all my activities. Not unless these badges can be taken off during personal moments (like going to the bathroom to pee and etc). This is I think an experiment because the delegates agreed voluntarily.

Microsoft on Monday announced plans to track Australian delegates attending its annual Tech.Ed conference in Sydney next week using RFID tags embedded in conference badges.

The move comes months after 50 academics, researchers and students at the University of Washington began a social networking experiment, which has seen participants voluntarily tag themselves. The system records the location of tags every 5 seconds and publishes movements to a Web page.

In Australia, human-targeted deployments of RFID tags have largely been limited to state prison systems. ACT Corrective Services in April said it had commissioned U.S. RFID provider Alanco and NEC Australia to install a Wi-Fi-compatible inmate-tracking system within its walls.

They keep on upgrading, do you love or hate it?

There are a lot of new enhancement in wordpress recently, they just released a stable blog software and for sure those developers are working on the next update again.

I love and hate it at the same time. I love the enhancement because it means more stable blog platform but I hate it at the same time because they update the softwares in only a blink of an eye.

It hurts to blog owners who manually updates the software, it is surely ok for those who aren’t..for those that uses their control panel to update their software.

What’s your opinion on this issue?

Completing my pending tasks

There are a lot of assignments again in PPP today yet sad to say that there was none that is available for non ranking blogs yet. That’s ok though, I’m still completing my pending assignments from SocialSpark :d

I hope that I can finish my pending tasks from SS before the assignments from PPP will start to pour in (lol).

Anyway, if you are one of the members of PPP, go to your dashboard now and keep refreshing your screen ;-)

Mainsoft backs Visual Studio 2008 in tools

So we are expecting a fabulous and a techie software in the next few months huh? I really like how they were able to cross-compile these engines..it’s FABULOUS ;-)

What a work of human brain huh?

Mainsoft for Java EE, Version 2.5, is a Visual Studio-based software suite with a cross-compilation engine allowing C# and Visual Basic developers to write ASP.Net AJAX applications and run them on Java EE platforms.

These platforms include IBM WebSphere Portal and Application Server, Lotus Expeditor and Notes, Tomcat, and any standards-compliant Java EE server.??

In addition to Visual Studio 2008 support, Version 2.5 adds capabilities for C# 3.0 and Visual Basic 9 language features. Version 5.2 of Mainsoft for Unix and Linux enables C++ developers to build enterprise applications using Visual Studio 2008 and deploy them on 21 Unix and Linux platforms.

The upgrade adds support for HP-UX 11i v2 and v3 on HP Integrity Servers with Intel Itanium 4-bit processors. Also supported are Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 for x86_64 and Suse Linux Enterprise Server 10 for x86. HP-UX 11v3 on HP 9000 servers with PA-RISC processors are supported as well. Solaris is supported on SPARC, AMD Opteron, and Intel architectures.
