I was following up the latest news about the war that has been going on with Russia and Georgia and here comes the latest one, Russia is hacking Georgian’s websites.
Hmmm, not cool huh? I’ve never been a fan of war (who else does?), and hopefully this war will end sooner than we thought and expected. Let’s just cross our fingers and keep our prayers and high hopes.
Russian hackers continue attacks on Georgian sites
Attacks by Russian hackers against Georgian Web sites, including one hosted in the United States, continued Tuesday even as Russian President Dmitri Medvedev ordered a halt to hostilities against Georgia.
Tom Burling, acting chief executive of Atlanta-based Web-hosting firm Tulip Systems Inc., said the Web site of the president of Georgia was the target of a flood of traffic from Russia aiming to overwhelm the site. Burling said bogus traffic outnumbered legitimate traffic 5000 to 1 at president.gov.ge.
“Literally, our people aren’t getting any sleep,” Burling said. Tulip’s firewall was blocking most of the malicious traffic. The site has been periodically inaccessible, though it was working midday Tuesday. Burling said the attacks have been reported to the FBI.

We have seen many different types of futuristic watches with strange shapes and design but none so unique as this. Now lets welcome the Nail watch, that can be worn on the thumb.
You may have never seen a watch that can be worn on the thumb but times are going to change thanks to Timex. Timex, in collaboration with Core77, held a global design competition called 2154: the future of time design. So what we are seeing here is the TX54 concept which was a runner up there. (photo and clipping is from a forwarded email)
A nail watch? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I’m not sure if this is just a product of the computer geeks imagination and a few picture editing but if its true, imagine how far did we go with our technology?
Is it marvelous or scary? For me, I think it’s both. It’s one of the best things that our technology was able to offer yet it’s also scary. I’m just scared of how far can we go and can we handle in terms of using our technology..

I have a movie date tonight (of course with hubby)
so I’m going bye bye later. We’re going to watch “Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emperor”, they said it’s a good movie.
We’ve already watched “Dark Knight” last weekend and it was pretty ok. It did not wowed me though but I’ll give credits to all the actors, they played good on that movie..especially the late Heath Ledger (he played as the Joker).
Anyway, I still have 1 pending assignment that I need to post so I’m going to cut this short
, i’ll provide you with the tech news later..

And I am eating ice cream again :d , my craving for ice cream has been crazy lately. I can’t stop eating, I’m not sure why I’m having a very sweet tooth this week.
I tried curving it by eating fruits but I always ended up opening our fridge and scooping an ice cream. Hmmm..really weird. I am planning to lay down after posting all my assignments
, kinda tired.
I am currently reviewing and is planning to take a comptia A+ exam next month. I have me a book and I’m really thankful from my previous school lessons, it seemed like I’m only taking a refreshing study. Anyway, I need to go back on writing my articles now

ARGH?!@# Here we go again with PPP..it takes a long time to load and if you’re not that lucky, even if you were able to reserve a certain assignment, you’ll get an error that can’t be resolve when you’re submitting your entry.
I’ve been bummed two days ago but I’ve let it go because I was able to reserve assignments after (lol) but really at least I told their customer service to PLEASE try to look for some solution and check their system.
As usual they told me that they’ll look on it But of course I know the answer

I am reading the tech news from yahoo today and this is the latest gig when it comes to cell phones. Best Buy will start selling iPhone cell phones on September 7. Hmmm, unofficially, ebay has been selling iPhones since it was available in the market, how about tapping ebay?
Anyway, I might check best buy
, I love iPhones.
Best Buy Co. will start selling the iPhone on Sept. 7, becoming first U.S. chain to do so outside of Apple Inc.’s and AT&T Inc.’s own stores.
Wednesday’s announcement by Best Buy expands the availability of Apple’s vaunted phone to 970 full-size stores and 16 smaller Best Buy Mobile stores. It’s also a coup for the Minneapolis-based chain, which has been upgrading its cell-phone departments.
“We had a lot of work to do, obviously, to get in a position where Apple and AT&T would feel good about Best Buy Mobile carrying it, and that’s what we’ve done in the last 18 months,” said Shawn Score, president of Best Buy Mobile. source
