We went roaming around town today
, it’s (kind a) day off for me. I really like it when it’s his off because it always means that I have somebody to talk with and not just my computer and our tv
Haayzzz, lovin my life when hubby is around. Nga pala, we changed our cable tv provider from Baja to Directv. And right now, we don’t have any cable or tv connection and it’s a big deal.
We asked them to cut it off on the last day of this month but they said that they can’t do it on that day hence it’s sunday and they opted to do it this coming tuesday (Sept 2) hence it will holiday on monday and we agreed on it. So we thought that it was settled and I went ahead and scheduled the directv’s installation on the 1st of September (kita mo naman, directv people are working even on holidays unlike baja).
Sus, we were shocked when all of a sudden our cable connection went out today. Walanghiyang Baja, pinutol na pala…grrrrrr! They’re even so rude when Carlo called their office and asked them what happened. When my husband told them that one of their associate told us that they’re going to cut it off on the second of September and that they need to stick to it and put it back until the second, they just said that “we’re not in a hurry to put it back since you’re cutting off your connection, you need to wait for the available schedule”. Mga walanghiya talaga, sarap murahin..
Haay naku, wag na kayong mag-baja (if you have a service provider like this in your area), wala na ngang kwenta yung cable connection wala pang MODO yung mga tauhan nila.
I was so furious today kaya nagliwaliw na lang kami ni asawa ko…geeezz

I am having a fun time learning how entrecard works
, I’m guilty on not reading their FAQ (lol). There’s just a lot of things that I need to do and reading the FAQ goes on the later part of my list.
But anyway, I have some adverts on my entrecard right now. I’d say, congrats to them for buying the advertisement because I’m going to feature them in my blog (syempre for free
) one by one and I’m going to do this for the first 20 blogs and so far, I still need ___ more. Haha, that’s a secret.
Of course, the featured article about them will be special
that’s why if you want a FREE feature (with blog screen shot) in my blog, go to entrecard now and sign up then give me a buzz.
I will start to post the featured blogs will start on monday

This is a nice technique for cell phone companies, they’re getting ready (getting a back up) in case hurricane Gustav will create some damage on their telecommunication lines.
That’s what I called, “prevention is better than cure”. Don’t you think?
But seriously, I hope this hurricane will just go away and would not cause anymore harm
, let’s help pray for that because right now, they raised the level of alarm to level 4.
The hurricane bearing down on the Gulf Coast could be a test for the country’s wireless carriers, which faced criticism and a regulatory push after Hurricane Katrina took out networks. Sprint Nextel Corp. spokeswoman Stephanie Vinge-Walsh said the company’s Emergency Response Team, with trucks that can act as cell towers, was “caravaning down, military-style,” to the Gulf Coast on Friday.
Verizon Wireless has spent $137 million in the past year on enhancing its network in the Gulf Coast area, including doubling its capacity at regional switching centers to handle a barrage of calls when disaster strikes. “Certainly there were lessons to be learned from Katrina,” Verizon Wireless spokeswoman Gretchen LeJeune said. “Preparation for bad weather has been at the top of mind and we prepare for it all year.”

U.S. stocks tumbled on Friday, led lower by tech shares after computer maker Dell warned that companies worldwide are cutting back on technology spending.
Nevertheless, the market managed to end August in positive territory as oil continued a sharp slide started in July.
On Friday, all three major indexes fell more than 1 percent, with the Nasdaq chalking up the biggest losses after Dell Inc’s comments sparked fears about weakness in the whole tech sector. Shares of Dell, the world’s second-largest computer maker, fell nearly 14 percent, and other tech shares such as International Business Machines Corp, also declined.

We just arrived from the movie, we watched “Mama Mia” and it was a GOOD movie. It’s funny and very entertaining. I’ve always love Meryl Streep, she’s really a brilliant actress.
Mama Mia is definitely a MUST SEE movie. I wasn’t a real fan of ‘musical’ movies, you know I love sci-fi and action but Mama Mia is an exception. It’s worth watching.
Here’s the synopsis of the movie:
20 year old Sophie (Seyfried) is preparing to marry her boyfriend Sky (Cooper) at her mother’s hotel on an island in Greece. She seemingly has it all — a carefree life, a loving fiance, and happy friends — but one thing has been missing all her life: a father.
Her only wish now is to be given away by her dad at her wedding. By reading her mother’s diary she discovers that she has three possible fathers. Sophie then secretly invites all three men to the wedding in a desperate bid to discover which of them is her father before the wedding bells start to chime!
But not all goes according to plan: old loves are re-kindled, new loves are formed, and Sophie risks everything to discover the true identity of her father. source

Like millions of motorists, Eric Hanson used a GPS unit in his Chevrolet TrailBlazer to find his way around. He probably didn’t expect that prosecutors would eventually use it too — to help convict him of killing four family members.
Prosecutors in suburban Chicago analyzed data from the Garmin GPS device to pinpoint where Hanson had been on the morning after his parents were fatally shot and his sister and brother-in-law bludgeoned to death in 2005. He was convicted of the killings earlier this year and sentenced to death.
Hanson’s trial was among recent criminal cases around the country in which authorities used GPS navigation devices to help establish a defendant’s whereabouts. Experts say such evidence will almost certainly become more common in court as GPS systems become more affordable and show up in more vehicles.

I’m really happy today
, a simple talk and laugh with my dada (dad) made my day. It’s been awhile since we last talk. I think the last time I heard his voice was a month ago
medyo nagtampo lang ako konti sa knila ng mama ko.
There was a simple family issue and hayun di nagpang-abot ang aming mga rason..but everything is ok now. I love my parents dearly and no mater what happen, I will always love them. You know, we can’t really avoid the miscommunication especially when you’re only talking on the phone and not seeing each other in person.
Haay
Basta mahal na mahal ko sila..
