Some ordeals when you’re an internet addict

One of the many ordeals you’ll get if you’re a person who ‘eat and drink’ the internet is the constant lookout of internet connection when you’re out of town.

Going to a big city doesn’t guarantee an uptime ‘all the time’ internet connection not unless (of course) if you have the ‘on the go’ internet connection from Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and from any other internet service provider because they offer 24/7 internet connection.

When you say that there are cafe’s that are open 24/7 or hotels that offer FREE wifi, this doesn’t mean that ALL hotels and ALL cafe’s offer FREE wifi. Say for example, Starbucks. Starbucks doesn’t offer FREE wifi. We went to Starbucks earlier today to try and see if we can connect to any FREE wifi, but there’s none. The coffee is great though, no complain about it.

Yesterday when we were at Reno Nevada eating brunch, I tried powering up my laptop and see if there was any FREE wifi at the hotel and there was one BUT it’s not for FREE. The cost is $7.99 an hour. ARGH?!@$

I decided not too and I let go of my 2 assignment reservation ( I reserve it earlier when we were in our hotel, we had a free wifi in our hotel). It was not worth it.

Yet in all of the delimma I’ve been through, finding a public library came as the best option. Publics libraries in the US (mostly) offers FREE wifi and it’s fast. Even if the idea came late, it was still worth it. We are using the FREE wifi in Rancho Cordova’s (town located in Sacramento Ca) public library.

We visited Lake Tahoe

These pictures were taken yesterday, this was on our way back to Sacramento from Reno. The first picture was taken at Circus Circus buffet. the whole family ate brunch. Beside me is Latiana (my niece and her mom Liz).

The second picture was taken at Lake Tahoe. The beach is BEAUTIFUL…super. We’re planning on going back in Lake Tahoe and maybe spend a day or 2. There are hotels nearby the coast so it wouldn’t be a problem if we’ll stay there.

The third picture was taken at the chocolate factory. Oh boy, their chocolates taste so yummy and fresh. The one where I’m standing at is a chocolate…errrr..sorry I forgot..hehe.
