Patience played the biggest part

One thing I’ve learned about shopping is that, you’ve got to have patience if you want to save on your spending.
Just like the newcomers in blogging, they always complain to me that writing/composing a single entry is draining and how much more maintaining it? Oh well, if you’re not patient and doesn’t have the drive/passion about being online, then probably blogging is not for you.
Anyway, with regards to shopping..we roamed around our town last week to buy bathroom fixtures and plants for our backyard. We first went to Home Depot and my gulay, the prices are so high. So then we routed to Lowes, Kmart and Walmart. And you know what we found? A HUGE price difference.
A regular tree (around 6ft tall) in Lowes and Home Depot is $100+ while in Kmart it is $50+ and in Walmart, it’s only $19.99…it’s even on sale for $15.99.
When we were in Home Depot and Lowes, I told hubby that we might buy 1 tree per pay day..but I changed my statement when we went to Kmart, I told him..let’s buy now and he said let’s try Walmart first. So when we went to Walmart, I told him to bring the trees that I want in the counter and I’ll pay for it :-D.
We actually had fun last week and even if it’s tiring, it was fulfilling.
