How often do you change your password?

I usually change/reset my passwords every 3 or 6 months, I do this especially that I do most of my transaction online. It’s hard to gamble. I also use a combination of special character, lower and upper caps and numbers. This way the passwords I supplied are stronger enough to keep it hidden from any possible illegal intrusion.

I don’t usually do this before but one time (might be 3 or 4 years ago), the government site for wowphilippines or wowphilippines.com.ph was hacked. We were shocked in the office on that time. Imagine the harm if your account gets hacked? The damage would be big especially if you have confidential information stored, like on emails.

Also, don’t use a password that can be easily guessed. There are a lot of programs that can decode passwords so you better be really careful. One thing also if you’ll create a strong password, you need to keep a copy of this. We can’t memorize it all the time. It would be really useless if you do have a strong password but you yourself cannot get inside your email or website admin/dashboard because you forget your password.
