The amount that you need to pay to get HDFC receipt is Rs 6,288 /- plus Rs 374 /- If you find it difficult to pay the fees at HDFC branch you can order online to get your HDFC receipt via http://www.visa-fee.com. They deliver the HDFC receipt to your address in India or in US. Good one !! Also prior to getting a US visa Appointment you need to obtain a HDFC receipt from designated HDFC branch.
