Update on my medical test at SLEC

My oh my..I didn’t know that getting my medical test is SOOOOO TIRING. Hindi ako nagrereklamo, but I only want to share lang po.

I and my roommates got up around 3 30am to prepare. we prepared and finished after an hour, walk going to Saint Lukes for 5 minutes and viola, marami ng nakapila. Maaga pala talaga silang nagbubukas.

We showed our appointment letter and our passport to the guard and he gave us a number and the PDS forms (Patient Data Sheet forms). After filling up the forms, we ate outside SLEC, gutom na and its around 5 30 in the morning. After awhile we went back to our hotel room and got back to SLEC after an hour.

Pila dito, pila dun…kuha ng test..pila ulit, kuha ng result…pila ulit…and so on. Yan ang ginawa namin buong maghapon. Until the immunization interview….mga around 3pm na this time.

Sabi ni Doc, get back here on monday for your immunization shots…sabi ko, haaay salamat..drain na drain na kasi ako at this time.

Test to undergo:

-xray

-urine/blood test

-eye test

-vital signs

-height and weight

- physical exam

-immunization

Hindi naman ganun kadami ang gagawing test BUT because of the volume of people who are getting those tests, dun ang nakakabagal…

    Hi Gladys!

My fiancee just went through the exact same things you are. She had her Embassy interview last Monday and is approved to come to the U.S. to marry me. She is a farm girl from the provinces in Magsaysay near Gingoog City. I’ve had Bob’s WowPhilippines send gifts to her several times. I think I might have even talked to you one day about delivery.

I was surprised to hear that my sweetheart had to go through 3 interviews at the Embassy. They were short interviews but separated by periods of time. She was in the building until 10:30 a.m. before it was over.

You should also know she had a 7:30 appointment time but apparently it’s first-come first-served because she got in line at 4 a.m. and stood there until 6:45 before they let them in. Just thought this might be helpful for you to know, if you don’t already, so you are there in plenty of time.

I read a lot of your blog but didn’t see where Carlo is from so that you are applying for a visa. If you’re coming to the U.S. what state will you be living in?

You have a great attitude about life and love. As I read your various blog entries about being in love, it reminds me of what my fiancee and I write to each other. I really enjoy seeing someone being truly in love because I completely know what it is now that I have met my soulmate too. Sometimes your words are identical to ours.

Good luck to you and may God bless your marriage.

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for dropping by. I hope you enjoyed our service :-) at WowPhilippines.

Carlo is from Alamogordo, New Mexico and that is where i’m going soon. I had past entries about my coming home there in the US but that was few months or maybe a year. I always love featuring Carlo in my blogs :-) ..guess I need not say that he got his girl head over heels.

I’m happy to know that your fiancee passed the interview. Congratulations to both of you. I hope ur visa will be delivered soon. My interview will be on May 7th and i’m a lil nervous..but i’m ok. THanks for the tips, i’ll go to the embassy early too.

By the way, where are you from in the US? And what’s the name of ur fiancee? Say hi to her and if we’re near, i hope to meet you guys someday. Carlo and I will be delighted to meet you guys.

    Gladys
