I need a new spam catcher/killer plugin on wordpress

I’ve been having trouble with the excessive spam dropped on this blog lately and I guess it’s time for me to look for another spam catcher.

What are you using in your blog? I’m looking for any suggestion/s right now and thanks in advance. Also, I’d rather use what you’re using than trying a different one without any feedback from current user. That will save me time as it will be tested and proven already. By the way, I am using a wordpress platform and basically I am looking for a plugin.

Right now, I am using Spam Karma II, it works but it’s not up to my expectation (but of course, to each is own, it probably works on yours). There are still a lot of spam comments that slips and I’ve been marking them as spam everyday so my spam karma will recognize it as spam the next time.

Let me know what you’re using..any recommendations will do. Thanks!

I hate to admit it but YES I’m LAZY

I’m so lazy today ( I mean not just today but since I got pregnant lol) , got up at 10 in the morning, eat my breakfast, stare at my computer, browse my facebook page, walk Fox on the backyard and I feel sleepy again.

So this is how the life of a pregnant woman is..will do things she feels like doing even if sometimes it doesn’t make sense and there are a lot of things that needs to be done that will never even be started lol. Until now, my to-do-list is still intact, none is marked as done and I don’t feel like doing any of it .

My husband’s not complaining, he’s just laughing at me cause I always complain yet I don’t do anything about it.

The only thing that Carlo (my husband) reminds me all the time is to walk, he doesn’t care when or what time as long as I get to walk everyday so (he said) I wouldn’t have a hard labor.

I’m approaching my 24th week or 6 month pregnancy this week, time flies by so quick isn’t it? I can still remember how I argued with my husband when he told me “Hey babe, I think you’re pregnant” and I told him “No, I’m just fat”.

I gained around 10 lbs during that time and I was a little big from my normal figure. He insisted that I was pregnant for days until he was able to persuade me to take a pregnancy test (home kit), it tested positive but I still would not believe that I was pregnant so he called in at the clinic and booked me a check up.

To make the long story short, I really was pregnant..and here I am now, raving and ranting about how it all started . It always made us (me and hubby) laugh when we reminisce, how I argued with him, how he tried his best to convince me..it was funny and I didn’t even know why I reacted that way.

I guess it might be because my pregnancy is an “unplanned plan” ..I mean we plan to be pregnant this year but wasn’t expecting to be pregnant right away. That’s how life is huh? Full of surprises and loads of roller coaster emotion. We are very happy though, that’s for sure.

I will working on my baby boy’s bedroom starting this week and I was thinking of buying him a convertible crib. A convertible crib is you can convert it into a bed when then baby grows up so the parents do not need to buy a new bed.

The question is, is it too early to think about bed mattresses for that bed? Lol. That is always a dilemma with a first time mom but oh well, I’ll survive.

Let it go..

The recent Ms. Universe pageant created a ‘buzz’ around the internet with Ms. Philippines (my kababayan) Venus Raj answer …’ no major major problem..’

Some call the question to be dumb in the first place so therefore how can we expect her to answer it smartly..

Some says “it’s a lame question so Baldwin recieved a lame answer …and so on. And there are some that says, it’s a challenging question that even those smart ones are having a hard time answering this impromptu question.

For however you perceived, processed and understand her answer and the question; the fact remains that it’s not so nice of you or any of us to ridicule her and make fun of her answer. Just let it go and thank her for trying her best, she made us proud, she became the headline carrying our country’s name with no “bombings, killings, corruption and etc ” attached to it.. She also fought til the end and made it to top 5.

I’m not saying I like her answer but who am I to say what’s wrong or right? Of course I percieved it differently but my right could be wrong in yours. There may be an argument of ’she could have answererd better’..like have a courage and admit your mistake and learn from it.. and I agree on this BUT…

Oh well, I guess this is a call for a lesson learned. If we want to win, we need to expose and train our candidates more on dealing with Q and A’s. On the spot question infront of millions of viewers is really nerve-wracking so more exposure og training pa jud..lol.
